The case competition session is based on the competition of students' professional knowledge, skills, decision-making abilities and harmony within the team.
All university students in our country and abroad have the right to participate in the competition.
In order to participate in the case competition, registration to the congress is required.
Participation in the competition as a team is possible. Competitors should fill out the participation form and make their applications.
The deadline for application is October 4, 2024 at 5 pm.
Team members cannot be changed after the application date.
Each team must choose a team name. (The team name must not insult anyone, any organization, or contain a political opinion)
Teams consist of at least 3 and at most 5 people.
2nd, 3rd and 4th year undergraduate and graduate students can participate in the competition. Undergraduate 1st year students cannot participate.
The team of a 2nd year student must include at least one 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or graduate student.
Each team can have at most one graduate student (student certificate must be attached to the application form).
Each team must have an advisor.
A student can only be in one team. The same person cannot be in more than one team.
The patient analysis mentioned in the case should be done in accordance with the ICF framework, and the most appropriate treatment plan should be created by determining the goals in the treatment in line with this analysis.
The treatment plan should include the most ideal exercise program for the patient. It may also include different physical therapy agents. If it does, its purpose in treatment should be specified.
The purpose of each exercise in the exercise program (endurance, strength, etc.), how and how often the patient will perform the exercise, how the exercises are developed, the type of exercise (aerobic, anaerobic), the types of movements performed during exercise (active, active-assisted, resistance, etc.) should be specified in case solutions and case presentations.
Case studies should be written in Word file with Arial font, 11 pt, 1.5 line spacing and not exceeding 5 pages. Margins should be 2.5 cm from top, bottom, left and right.
After the cases are given to the teams, it is obligatory for the teams to send their case solutions to uluslararasiogrencikongresi@gmail.com e-mail address until October 13, 2024 at 5 pm.
Teams that do not submit their solutions within the given deadline lose the right to participate in the competition.
The case presentation should be in PowerPoint format, font size and font type should be easy to read.
The case presentation will be made face-to-face on 20.10.2024, between 15.20-16.20 at the ATO Meclis Hall.
All members of the team must be at the place of presentation at least 30 minutes before the specified time. The presentation will be controlled by the contestants at the reji. Contestants are responsible for any errors in the presentation.
At the end of the competition, the winning team will be presented a plaque by the jury members.
The case analysis of the winning team will be published in the "Journal Of Hacettepe University Physical Therapy And Rehabilitation Faculty", the internationally indexed journal of Hacettepe University Physical Therapy And Rehabilitation Faculty.
